Adjustable cutting angle

Siljum's folding plow combines both a straight and a positive cutting angle: 0 and 20 degrees, respectively. Thanks to a specially developed, robust cutting edge holder, the plow can be used with both straight and positive cutting edges. Adjustment is made with a simple manual operation. The adjustable cutting angle makes the plow even more versatile and easier to use in different environments and on different surfaces without compromise.

The folding plow can, for example, be easily used on gravel or softer surfaces with a zero-degree straight edge without the plow going too deep. The folding plow can then just as easily be used in hard-packed snow with a positive edge without unnecessary force being used to push the machine forward.

The adjustable cutting angle contributes to reduced fuel consumption, less wear, reduces the need for different plows, and provides better plowing results.

Three stabiliser legs and float function

Another unique feature of Siljum's folding plow is that it has three adjustable stabiliser legs with replaceable wear plate shoes instead of two, which is what most folding plows on the market have today. This feature improves the driving experience. With three stabiliser legs, the folding plow floats better against the ground, moves much more easily, and becomes even more responsive.

The folding plow is equipped with a floating function, which allows the plow to follow the contours of the road without being controlled by the position of the machine. This, together with the plow's three stabilizer legs, provides excellent driving characteristics and results in a smooth ride for the machine operator.

Well-dimensioned and safe

Siljum's folding plow is a sturdy plow that is well-built, robust, and well-dimensioned. It has been developed for professional contractors and users who have high demands on operational reliability and driving characteristics and want peace of mind.

The folding plow is equipped with shock valves and an accumulator to safely and securely handle obstacles and if the plow unexpectedly hits something.

Standard and optional extras

Siljum's folding plow comes standard with a 4-hose hydraulic system, float function, adjustable cutting angle, smooth cutting edges, three support legs with wear shoes, accumulator, shock valves, and lighting.

As an option, an electric valve with a 12 or 24 volt machine electric kit can be selected instead of the 4-hose system. This provides additional functions and makes it easier to control the wings of the folding plow; for example, it is possible to control one wing at a time, both wings diagonally, or forward/backward.
