In the development work, Siljum has focused on creating a robust and reliable premium plough with unique features and good handling.

Adjustable cutting angle

The Siljums plow combines both a straight and a positive cutting angle: 0 and 20 degrees respectively. Due to a specially developed and robust cutting edge holder, the plough can therefore be used with both straight and positive cutting blades. Adjustment is made with a simple manual operation. The adjustable cutting angle makes the plough even more versatile and easier to use in different environments and conditions without compromise.

The folding plough, for example, can easily be used on gravel or softer surfaces with the blade set straight at zero degrees without the plough digging too deep. The folding plough can then just as easily be used in hard-packed snow with the blade set positively without unnecessary force being used to push the machine.

The adjustable cutting angle contributes to lower fuel consumption, less wear, reduces the need for different ploughs, and provides a better ploughing result.

Three stabiliser legs and float function

Another unique feature of Siljum's folding plough is that it has three adjustable stabiliser legs with replaceable wear plate shoes instead of two, which is what most folding plows on the market have today. This feature improves the driving experience. With three stabiliser legs, the folding plough floats better against the ground, moves much more easily, and becomes even more responsive.

The folding plough is equipped with a floating function, which allows the plow to follow the contours of the road without being controlled by the position of the machine. This, together with the plow's three stabilizer legs, provides excellent driving characteristics and results in a smooth ride for the machine operator.

Well-proportioned and safe

The Siljums V-plough is a substantial plough that is well built, robust and generously dimensioned. It is developed for professional contractors and users who have high demands on reliability, driving characteristics and want to be worry-free.

The folding plough is equipped with shock valves and an accumulator to safely and reliably handle obstacles, if the plough unexpectedly should hit something.

Standard and optional

By default, the Siljum folding plough is delivered with a 4-hose hydraulic system, float function, adjustable cutting angle, smooth cutting edges, three support legs with wear shoes, accumulator, shock valves, and lighting.

As an option, an electric valve with a machine-electric kit for 12 or 24 volts can be selected instead of the 4-hose system. This provides additional functions and allows for simpler control of the folding plough's wings; for example, it's possible to control one wing at a time, both wings diagonally, or forwards/backwards.
